Launching: ECE Playpen YouTube Channel

We are going live on YouTube!!!

Have you seen videos of people reading picture books online? We’re starting our own Storytime with Playpen. This is an initiative where SUSS ECE faculty members, alumni and current students will record themselves reading picture books aloud – we have a whole collection of books in C3.16!

These videos will be privately listed and shared with beneficiaries of SUSS (e.g. families in rental flats in Project DIAN, Beyond Social Services, CDAC, Mendaki, SINDA, SG Bless...).

You may choose to record just the flipping of the book with your voice in the background, or show yourself reading, like in the classroom. Take a look at the videos here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCTQFydrSNTrUjxivFU6k3yw

We are opening slots for recording on ECE499 Symposium Day, before & after the Symposium - so feel free to come early or stay later to film. You may indicate your interest here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/13k8qh0b9wg8Xf-H5q_xi6ZEze-uhoASsglVR1wTE1PI/edit?usp=sharing

Following the Symposium, we are opening slots for you to film. Currently, we have opened slots for the whole of summer break (until early August). This is open to all staff, students and alumni!
